The Web Welcomes Google Chrome
Google have launched the beta of their own browser, Chrome.
It's been built from the ground up with the modern web in mind rather than being an adaption of an old school browser.
There are some really great features the most appealing of which (to me at least) are the individual processes for each tab and task, this means that if you have a few tabs open and something within a tab crashes you can simple kill that process without losing the rest.
It also has a built in element inspection feature (similar to the Firefox web developer toolbar) which I cannot live without as a web developer.
It is still a beta and I'm sure there are bugs in it but so far I'm impressed with it, it's certainly faster than any other browser I've used and it's certainly intuitive.
